The Centec CT14DXQD has replaced the NuTone CT600, however these two power heads completely identical in every other way. This power head will also fit some Panasonic or Sears Kenmore canister vacuums.The CT14DXQD has a 14" wide motorized roller bar with two rows of nylon brushes , with dual edge cleaning, which provides extra cleaning power.There is a 4-position height adjustment - Hi, Med, Low, Extra Low - that allows you to can any surface in your home. There is a reliable poly V belt drive system that has a built in over load protection, that shuts down the power power head for you. Built-in full-width light maximizes cleaning visibility. The quick release neck allows you to remove wand embly from power brush without bending. This also makes it easy to switch to an alternate tool for above-the-floor cleaning. Convenient overload protection reset on located on housing. On/off switch not included on power brush.Note: If you replacing an existing powerhead and have a Nutone CH310 hose, this powerhead cord will be too short because of the length of the handle. In these situations, you may need to purchase the PT40 Nutone 032B000 adapter cord if your current powerhead has a hard-wired power cord.
